https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=450160 Summary: restart_on_update breaks openvpn on update, and update too. Product: openSUSE 11.0 Version: Final Platform: Other OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Blocker Priority: P5 - None Component: Network AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: lmb@novell.com QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- Downloading: openvpn-2.0.9-96.1_96.2.i586.delta.rpm [done (18.3 K/s)] Applying delta: ./openvpn-2.0.9-96.1_96.2.i586.delta.rpm [done] Installing: openvpn-2.0.9-96.2 [100%]Enter Auth Username: .. need I say more? The service gets restarted, and the password needs to be entered, which means the update is stuck (not sure how this would have worked if I had been doing the update via a graphical frontend). And let's just say it is somewhat unpleasant if one performs the update via the openvpn connection. Please pull the update if that's still possible. This seems to affect both 11.0 where I found this, but the package is maintained for SLE10 too. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
