Install openSuSE 11.0 2. Update to kernel-2.6.26-26 by "yast2 --install kernel-vanilla" 3. Reboot into the newly installed kernel. 4. Do S3 by typing "pm-suspend" from command line, or click "Computer->Shutdown->Sleep" from GUI. 5. System doesn't go to S3. 6. Do S4 by typing "pm-hibernate" from command line, or click "Computer->Shutdown->Hibernate" from GUI. 7. System doesn't go to S4. Expected Results: For Suspend-to-RAM(S3) - The system should enter S3 normally. On pressing the power button again, system should come out of S3. For Hibernate(S4) - The system should enter S4 normally. On pressing the power button, system should resume from the saved image stored in swap partition.
