https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=469719 Summary: nano segmentation faults Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 11.1 Version: Final Platform: x86-64 OS/Version: openSUSE 11.1 Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Other AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: bobf@bfarmer.net QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686 (x86_64); en-US; rv:1.9.0.5) Gecko/2008121300 SUSE/3.0.5-1.1 Firefox/3.0.5 The nano 2.1.5-1.38 package shipped with openSUSE 11.1 often crashes when using the control-K command to delete a line when you're positioned at the end of the current file. Reproducible: Sometimes Steps to Reproduce: The easiest way to reproduce this is to simply run "nano", then hit control-K as soon as it comes up. That will cause a segmentation fault every time in my testing. I've only tested with x86_64. This was not an issue with the earlier version of nano included with openSUSE 11.0. Also, I have downloaded the nano 2.1.7-1.10 source RPM from openSUSE Factory, rebuilt it on my 11.1 system, and that version does not have the problem, either. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
