In Bios Numlock state is set to on. On Login screen KDM numlock state is "off" Going to /etc/sysconfig/KBD_NUMLOCK this is set to BIOS which obviously is not working as Bios is set to on. Changing this setting to "on" and then rebooting has no effect. Numlock state remains off and does not come on until KDE begins booting as also have numlock state set to "on" in Personal Settings > Keyboard & Mouse > Keyboard > Numlock on KDE startup set to on.
