[Bug 216104] NetworkManager applet doesn't show message boxes

However I think it was useful to have the message box tell you "Your're connected to the wireless network XXXXX", expecially for those users who use notebooks in different subnets. Is there the possibility to reintroduce them at this point or an alternative way to make nm-applet more "informative"?
