Since PackageKit changed, new versions of kupdateapplet need new versions of PackageKit.
yes, i know. the Build Log for Package PackageKit from Project GNOME:Factory for opensuse11.2 ( https://build.opensuse.org/package/live_build_log?arch=x86_64&package=PackageKit&project=GNOME%3AFactory&repository=openSUSE_11.2 ) shows, that the build of PackageKit 0.6.3 failed. what is strange is that the Build Log states on top "Status: Build finished"..... and the Build Status on https://build.opensuse.org/package/show?package=PackageKit&project=GNOME%3AFactory says: "finished".... it seems there is something wrong.
0.9.9 is what you have to use for 11.2. If there are any major bugs you should
yes, i know. but i am using KDE:KDE4:Factory:Desktop on opensuse11.2. and part of KDE:KDE4:Factory:Desktop is version 0.9.17/0.9.18 of kupdateapplet.. and because version 0.9.17/0.9.18 of kupdateapplet requires version 0.6.3 from PackageKit i am stuck, because it doesn't exist. so KDE:KDE4:Factory:Desktop for opensuse11.2 has a dependency problem. and of course, i whouldn't ask about all of this, if i whould use standard opensuse11.2 with no KDE:KDE4:Factory:Desktop. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
