https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=847971 https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=847971#c0 Summary: Chromium unexpectedly has H.264/MP4 support Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 12.3 Version: Final Platform: Other OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Other AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: andreas.hanke@gmx-topmail.de QAContact: qa-bugs@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux i686) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/30.0.1599.66 Safari/537.36 SUSE/30.0.1599.66 I assume that Chromium shouldn't have H.264/MP4 support by default, but on my system it plays the test video at http://www.quirksmode.org/html5/tests/video.html#link2 just fine (while Firefox and Opera don't). I have not installed the chromium-ffmpeg package from external sources, just the original chromium-ffmpegsumo.
