https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=851760 https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=851760#c0 Summary: LXC config file no longer accepts ipv6 addresses Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 13.1 Version: Final Platform: Other OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Other AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: jfunk@funktronics.ca QAContact: qa-bugs@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/31.0.1650.11 Safari/537.36 SUSE/31.0.1650.11 In 12.3, you could specify an IPv6 address for an LXC container with lxc.network.ipv6, setting it to, say, 2001:x:x::1/64. However, in 13.1, this is no longer working. When running lxc-start, this error is produced: lxc-start: No such file or directory - invalid ipv6 address: 2001:x:x::8/64 lxc-start: failed to read configuration file Removing the option makes it work, and IPv6 works inside the container.
