https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=801390 https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=801390#c3 --- Comment #3 from Christian Reiner <suse@christian-reiner.info> 2013-02-01 14:41:30 UTC --- I succeeded in installing (and using) calibre-0.9.16: I unstalled calibre-0.9.15, but in addition I had to manually remove the remaining /usr/share/calibre folder. Without that step I ran into the same problem as before. The cause of the problem obviously is a changed layout of the fonts subdirectory: calibre-0.9.15: balder:~ # ll /usr/share/calibre/fonts/ total 8 calibreSymbols.otf liberation liberation;510a08af -> ../../fonts/truetype liberation;510a0916 -> ../../fonts/truetype liberation;510a0cf7 -> /usr/share/fonts/truetype/ liberation;510a0e27 -> /usr/share/fonts/truetype/ liberation;510a0e5e -> /usr/share/fonts/truetype/ liberation;510bd140 -> ../../fonts/truetype The subfolder 'lineration' contained a single font file: LiberationSerif-Bold.ttf calibre-0.9.16: balder:~ # ll /usr/share/calibre/fonts/ total 8 calibreSymbols.otf liberation -> ../../fonts/truetype prs500 --- So it is possible to install that package. However this is no solution for 'normal' users. I guess it should be possible to detect such old layout and remove/correct it prior to an upgrade attempt even without modifying upstream calibre. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
