https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=466827 Summary: It's possible to drag the installation window around with ALT-click Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 11.1 Version: Final Platform: All OS/Version: openSUSE 11.1 Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Installation AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: matt@genesi-usa.com QAContact: jsrain@novell.com Found By: --- User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US) AppleWebKit/528.10 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/2.0.157.2 Safari/528.10 While probably a standard feature of X or Qt or something, being able to drag the window during the installer is not very helpful. When holding down ALT to select a menu item (ALT-N for Next for example), mistaken movements of the mouse (especially in my experience on laptops where the heel of my hand touches the trackpad while holding alt) can move the window right out of the display. Sometimes it's not obvious that this is what happened :) Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Install openSUSE 2. During the installer, hold ALT, click left mouse and drag the window around Expected Results: Dragging the main window in a fullscreen environment is not desirable.. so it shouldn't. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
