It won't fit in the embedding area /usr/sbin/grub2-bios-setup: error: filesystem 'btrfs' doesn't support blocklists System state prior to install /dev/sda1 /boot => 512 MB /dev/sda2 /swap => 4096 MB /dev/sda3 /root => Rest of 500GB drive During install tried btrfs and accepted the proposal the Installer provided. This included a extended partition and a bunch of subvolumes. The initial config was to beet from the root volume (this is the default) After the initial error message I was able to enter a "recovery loop" to try and address the problem. Selected to bot from root and the install appeared to work, i.e. no error. Upon reboot the previously installed bootloader (GRUB from a SLES install) was still active. The boot failed of course as the old loader found a changed partition layout. The partition layout after 13.1 B1 install from fdisk -l /dev/sda1 63 1060289 530113+ 83 /dev/sda2 1060290 9446219 4192965 82 /dev/sda3 9447424 976773119 483662848 f W95 Ext'd (LBA) /dev/sda5 9449472 93337599 41944064 83 /dev/sda6 93339648 976752639 441706496 83 this indicates that the install of the bootloader still failed in the "recovery loop" but that no error message was issued. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
