A check of the values size, oem-systemsize and sizes in systemdisk - In general, I think these tags make sense. The part that is not intuitive (to me, anyway) is the interaction between "oem-systemsize", "systemdisk", and "size". More specifically, it is difficult for me to predict when kiwi will resize LVM volumes and when it will not. In most cases, I've been able to look at "boot.kiwi", and then read through the code to figure out what kiwi is doing. - In terms of documentation, I think the sections that describe "oem-systemsize" and "size" could be improved. It wasn't clear to me that "size" controls the size of the image file itself, not the image as it is installed on the hardware. For "oem-systemsize", it might helpful to explain that this applies to the image as it is installed on the hardware. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
