https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=632853 https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=632853#c0 Summary: smolt profile corrupted and incorrect Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE.org Version: unspecified Platform: Other OS/Version: openSUSE 11.2 Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Infrastructure AssignedTo: mrueckert@novell.com ReportedBy: peter@renault4.plus.com QAContact: lrupp@novell.com Found By: --- Blocker: --- User-Agent: Opera/9.80 (X11; Linux i686; U; en-GB) Presto/2.6.30 Version/10.60 I just upgraded from openSUSE 11.2 to 11.3 and visited my old Smolt profile page (http://www.smolts.org/client/show/?uuid=pub_a9dceb9c-54e5-443a-97b0-44ca3bb2...) to see if it was possible to update it instead of creating a new one. The system info presented on that page contains several completely incorrect details that I never submitted and which wouldn't make sense for somebody else to have changed. Indeed, it seems to not be my profile at all, it is for an entirely different system. For example, it indicates an HP laptop with Spanish localisation and a Core Duo processor, when in fact this profile was submitted from a Sony Vaio laptop in English with a Pentium M single core. Only the software entries (i.e operating system, kernel, etc.) are relevant. I don't understand how or why this has happened, but it would appear that either somebody has intercepted the account or there is a bug causing profiles to be overwritten.
