https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=754576 https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=754576#c0 Summary: Lokalize scripts don't run because kross python plugin is missing Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 12.1 Version: Final Platform: Other OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: KDE4 Workspace AssignedTo: kde-maintainers@suse.de ReportedBy: jaanvajakas@hot.ee QAContact: qa-bugs@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux i686) AppleWebKit/536.3 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/19.0.1066.0 Safari/536.3 SUSE/19.0.1066.0 I have installed the latest versions of KDE libraries and applications from the http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/KDE:/Release:/47/openSUSE_12.1/ repostory. It seems that at least Lokalize cannot run python scripts. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Install some Python script to handle source file links in Lokalize by putting the script in the localize-scripts folder of the project 2. Run Lokalize from console 3. Click on some source link in the translation string metadata pane Actual Results: At step 2 Lokalize prints the message Kross: "Action::setInterpreter: interpreter not found: python" At step 3 Lokalize says that no scripts are registered to handle source links when Expected Results: The RPM for Python scripting support should be recommended by the Localize package so that it would be installed automatically. Actually I cannot even manually find the necessary package in the YaST software manager. My installed package versions: lokalize 4.7.4-7.1 python-kde4 4.7.4-7.1 python-kdebase4 4.7.4-17.1 libkde4 4.7.4-5.26.8 python 2.7.2-7.5.1 python-base 2.7.2-7.5.1 etc. sudo find / -name '*kross*' | grep py does not find anything. It seems that another user has had a similar problem: http://ktorrent.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=4235 -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
