Yes, using it is the better way, even if it uses non-common keys ;-) VERIFIED in MozillaFirefox-2.0.0.10-0.1 on openSUSE 10.3 However, it's unfortune that Alt-D-F (the usual keyboard shortcut for Datei - Öffnen) is used for "Fenster schließen" (close window).
