Try to run once: amixer -c0 set Beep mute

Oh wow, this works and persists for subsequent sessions as well. It seems this is somehow special for my Lenovo Laptop, as my home-build PC with Tumbleweed does not have any beep channel in alsamixer. Thank you! -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
