As far as I know, it is only an issue on openSUSE 11.0 (Kernel 2.6.25). Below the informations from VDR Portal. There is a patch (http://lkml.org/lkml/2008/9/3/255) which changes days from unsigned int to int. In kernel 2.6.27 days is changed to int too, see http://linux.sourcearchive.com/documentation/2.6.27-7.10/rtc-lib_8c-source.h... , so it shouldn't be an issue on 11.1.
