https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=613651 https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=613651#c25 --- Comment #25 from Jon Nelson <jnelson-suse@jamponi.net> 2011-03-25 15:41:34 UTC --- I'm not sure but I keep hitting what seems like the same issue. *packagekit* will update kernel-desktop, but that is all. However, despite a bunch of updates being listed in 'zypper lu -a', 'zypper up' doesn't find anything to update. Only if I do: zypper up 'kernel-*' does it suddenly discover updates. Console log: from sudo zypper -v up: The following package updates will NOT be installed: .. kernel-default-devel 2.6.37.5-1.1 kernel-desktop-base 2.6.37.5-1.1 kernel-desktop-devel 2.6.37.5-1.1 kernel-devel 2.6.37.5-1.1 kernel-source 2.6.37.5-1.1 .. Nothing to do. sudo zypper -v up 'kernel-*': The following NEW packages are going to be installed: kernel-default-devel 2.6.37.5-1.1 kernel-desktop-base 2.6.37.5-1.1 kernel-desktop-devel 2.6.37.5-1.1 kernel-devel 2.6.37.5-1.1 kernel-source 2.6.37.5-1.1 I have solver.allowVendorChange = true and solver.cleandepsOnRemove = true and multiversion = provides:multiversion(kernel) as the *only* changes from the stock zypp.conf file. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
