Can you record at all with any other sound recorder app?
Please indicate what application I can use to do that. I found arecord but that one is not handy together with noteedit.
Can you record from another sound source with krecord?
Yes, I can record sound from the microphone. I also found a way to record the output from noteedit using a cable to feed line output to line input and recording using line input as the recording source.
What happens if you use eg alsamixer instead of kmix to set the recording source channel?
