https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=731397 https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=731397#c0 Summary: Konversation "disappears" under openSUSE 12.1 Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 12.1 Version: Final Platform: x86-64 OS/Version: SuSE Other Status: NEW Severity: Critical Priority: P5 - None Component: KDE4 Applications AssignedTo: kde-maintainers@suse.de ReportedBy: antoine.mechelynck@belgacom.net QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:11.0a1) Gecko/20111118 Firefox/11.0a1 SeaMonkey/2.8a1 After installing the newly released openSUSE 12.1 Public release I have already noticed twice that Konversation (previously launched) wasn't running anymore: no "loudspeaker" icon on the taskbar, and also none near top right of the new Gnome 3 desktop (next to the clipboard tool's icon). I can't give details of what seems to have caused Konversation's disappearance, as in one case I was in bed sleeping with the computer running (and when I came back Konversation had quit) and in the other case I was busy with SeaMonkey in a different virtual desktop (and suddenly I noticed that Konversation's icons weren't there anymore). I don't have steps to reproduce (other than "wait a few hours" which isn't much to go by). openSUSE 12.1 Final Gnome 3 desktop kdm used as Window manager and Display manager KDE 4.7.2 "release 5" Konversation 1.3.1 Reproducible: Sometimes Steps to Reproduce: 1. Wait Actual Results: Konversation is not running anymore Expected Results: Konversation ought not to quit spontaneously -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
