Well, I think that after calling ntpdate during installation ("automatic NTP
configuration") there should be a synchronization of adapted system time to
hardware clock.
But the time shown should be the correct one, because after that ntpdate, you
should see the system time in the UI. Some confusion may be created that you
start the installation in English and later switch to Berlin time zone.
BTW, for me it works (or at least everything looks as it works). 2 questions:
1. If you start the installation in German, so the time zone is set correctly
from the start, is the time correct at the time of time zone selection?
2. How does the installation of openSUSE11.0 (which didn't have the default NTP
configuration) behave on the same machine?
