http://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=586065 http://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=586065#c0 Summary: LXDE - openSUSE-11.3 milestone-3 no default GUI based text editor Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 11.3 Version: Factory Platform: x86 OS/Version: openSUSE 11.3 Status: NEW Severity: Enhancement Priority: P5 - None Component: LXDE AssignedTo: andrea@opensuse.org ReportedBy: lee_matheson@hotmail.com QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.9.2.0) Gecko/20100115 SUSE/3.6.0-1.8 Firefox/3.6 Upon booting LXDE, I could not find a friendly GUI based text editor already installed. I know LXDE is supposed to be minimal, and I know LXDE is on the DVD/CD, but I think inclusion of Leafpad as part of the base install (without having to then install it off of the CD/DVD) would be a useful enhancement without breaking the minimalist philosophy. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. do a clean install - no nice GUI text editor 2. 3. Actual Results: No gui text editor installed by default. Expected Results: Have leafpad already installed upon LXDE install - with an entry in the menu. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
