https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=252592 Summary: GTK Create Folder permission problem Product: SUSE Linux 10.1 Version: Final Platform: Other OS/Version: SuSE Linux 10.1 Status: NEW Severity: Minor Priority: P5 - None Component: GNOME AssignedTo: bnc-team-gnome@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: siersmak@ekkinc.com QAContact: qa@suse.de I have noticed that creating a folder with the 'Create Folder' button in a GtkFileChooser (mode: save) window creates a directory with the permissions drwxr-xr--. The preferred permission would be drwxr-xr-x, of course. I've noticed this problem with GTK based applications such as The GIMP, OpenOffice as well as my company's software. To reproduce this bug: Open an image in the GIMP Select File: Save As Expand the window by toggling the 'Browse for other folders' button Click the 'Create Folder' button Enter a name for the new folder Check the permissions of the directory with 'ls -al' at the command line, for example. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.
