There is no messages about bttv / bt878 in /var/log/messages. When the file /etc/modprobe.d/50-tv.conf is copied from OS 12.3 and modeprobe bttv issued manually (or file bttv.conf with the only line bttv put into /etc/modules-load.d) everything starts working correctly.
