Install openSuse 12.1 RC2 ( have to use maxcpus=1 during install ) 2. remove maxcpus=1 from bootloader after install 3. zypper dup Actual Results: Machine no longer starts with kernel panic Expected Results: Machine starts Will start about 1 in 10 attempts. Once running everything works as expected Does not happen on D865GLC board with single core P4 Reproduced on several HT machines of the same spec.
