My patch is quite likely horribly wrong, but it did allow me to get my production deployment of OTRS working again. If you come up with a nicer solution, I will be more than happy to test it. Please note that I cam currently using the OTRS package in home:peternixon due to a couple of other minor bugs (which I opened tickets for).
