https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=211314 ------- Comment #41 from Ulrich.Windl@rz.uni-regensburg.de 2007-01-08 04:36 MST ------- As bug 227706 (Blender crashes X server) has been marked as a duplicate of this bug, let me add that the problem occurred for me, too (AMD Athlon X2 32bit with PCIe Nvidia Geforce 6600 without 3D acceleration). The traceback looks like this: Backtrace: 0: /usr/bin/X(xf86SigHandler+0x81) [0x80cbf81] 1: [0xb7f5f420] 2: /usr/lib/xorg/modules/extensions//libGLcore.so(_swrast_Line+0x23) [0xa68fe603] 3: /usr/lib/xorg/modules/extensions//libGLcore.so [0xa694e3b1] 4: /usr/lib/xorg/modules/extensions//libGLcore.so(_tnl_RenderClippedLine+0x23) [0xa6974b83] 5: /usr/lib/xorg/modules/extensions//libGLcore.so [0xa696d673] 6: /usr/lib/xorg/modules/extensions//libGLcore.so [0xa6970e53] 7: /usr/lib/xorg/modules/extensions//libGLcore.so [0xa6974c84] 8: /usr/lib/xorg/modules/extensions//libGLcore.so(_tnl_run_pipeline+0x145) [0xa695eeb5] 9: /usr/lib/xorg/modules/extensions//libGLcore.so(_tnl_flush_vtx+0x2b7) [0xa6981187] 10: /usr/lib/xorg/modules/extensions//libGLcore.so [0xa695c158] 11: /usr/lib/xorg/modules/extensions//libglx.so [0xb7be0ea0] 12: /usr/lib/xorg/modules/extensions//libglx.so(DoRender+0x155) [0xb7bdb205] 13: /usr/lib/xorg/modules/extensions//libglx.so [0xb7bdb29c] 14: /usr/lib/xorg/modules/extensions//libglx.so [0xb7bdf7dc] 15: /usr/bin/X [0x813d48e] 16: /usr/bin/X(Dispatch+0x19f) [0x808640f] 17: /usr/bin/X(main+0x495) [0x806e855] 18: /lib/libc.so.6(__libc_start_main+0xdc) [0xb7ce4f9c] 19: /usr/bin/X(FontFileCompleteXLFD+0x1e1) [0x806db71] Fatal server error: Caught signal 11. Server aborting Considering the quite different traceback, I doubt whether these both effects are actualy the same. Also what is quite strange is the quote in Xorg.log: "This is a pre-release version of the X server from The X.Org Foundation. It is not supported in any way." -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.
