Also, the packets seem not to come from www.opensuse.org. Could you try to install an older kernel onto the machine? 11.0 kernel can still be grabbed from ftp://ftp.suse.com/pub/projects/kernel/kotd/SL110_BRANCH/i386/kernel-pae.rpm, install it using rpm -i --oldpackage kernel-pae.rpm (this will cause the 11.0 kernel to be installed alongside the 11.1 one).
