After fresh OS install and ipv4 network configuration, the /etc/hosts file had the following entry: 127.0.0.2 swlx27.vxindia.veritas.com swlx27 I configured the IPv6 address on a different interface using yast tool. In the yast tool, I changed the hostname, DNS server name and domain name. IPv6 address is also assigned via dhcp. After the successful configuration of IPv6, the /etc/hosts file had below entry: 127.0.0.2 swlx27-v6.punipv6.com swlx27-v6 YaST tool should not correspond an IPv4 loopback address to an IPv6 hostname. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Configure ipv4 network interface 2. Configure ipv6 network interface on a different card on the same system using yast. 3.
