http://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=542488 Summary: Regression: Thinkpad R61 hangs on resume from RAM Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 11.2 Version: Factory Platform: Other OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Mobile Devices AssignedTo: mobile-bugs@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: suse@bugs.jan.ritzerfeld.net QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- User-Agent: Opera/9.80 (X11; Linux i686; U; de) Presto/2.2.15 Version/10.00 Using 11.2 Milestone 7, my Lenovo Thinkpad R61 hangs on waking up from Suspend to RAM (STR) while 11.1[0] works fine. It does not switch off the sleep light and does not active the power light (the 'Z' in a circle). However, it turns on the battery indicator light (as it should). The keyboard is dead, that is, caps lock is not indicated by the corresponding light and ctrl alt del does not have any effect. The USB mouse is not powered up, too. Thus, there are no logs. With earlier versions, STR often failed to restore X or forgot to enable the backlight again. But this time, it really hangs badly. karl:~ # s2ram -i This machine can be identified by: sys_vendor = "LENOVO" sys_product = "89196VG" sys_version = "ThinkPad R61" bios_version = "7KETC6WW (2.26 )" [0]http://www.thinkwiki.org/wiki/Installing_OpenSUSE_11.1_on_a_ThinkPad_R61#Pow...
