I've redone a test with a lot kernel modules removed manually (modprobe -r)
It would be better to black list those modules so they do not get loaded at all. Some of them might leave a mess behind. (In reply to Martin Koller from comment #3)
I should also mention that I installed a newer kernel (kernel-desktop-3.19.2-1.2.x86_64) with which the problem is gone.
