The problem is the result that the correct OpenGL environment is not available. Using kernel option 'nomodeset' results in drivers to be loaded with only Mesa OpenGL software, no hardware acceleration. The Clutter library does not support Mesa OpenGL, thus fails to start up Clutter which results in the error 139 of antler-keyboard.
