http://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=615776 http://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=615776#c0 Summary: OBS doesn't recognize dependency was removed from .spec Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE.org Version: unspecified Platform: Other OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Major Priority: P5 - None Component: BuildService AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: ahz001@gmail.com QAContact: adrian@novell.com Found By: --- Blocker: --- User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.9.2.3) Gecko/20100403 Fedora/3.6.3-4.fc13 Firefox/3.6.3 I removed references to freetype in the .spec files of two packages (cairo, pango) in my project 'home:andrew_z:mingw32-gtk2' using the osc command line client (which transparently created a patch--nice), but OBS thought the dependencies were still there: OBS kept including the removed dependencies. So I deleted the freetype package, and my project broke. In Cairo I tried replacing the patch with a non-patch .spec file, but I still have the same problem. Reproducible: Didn't try Steps to Reproduce: 1. Create a new project 2. Link to cairo, pango, and dependencies in project windows:mingw:win32 3. Use OSC CLI to edit cairo and pango .spec files and remove freetype dependencies Actual Results: OBS keeps including the freetype package after BuildRequires is removed. Expected Results: freetype package is not included in cairo and pango builds. The freetype package can be deleted from the project without affecting the builds. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
