http://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1191519 Bug ID: 1191519 Summary: bpfilter: read fail on suspend Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE Tumbleweed Version: Current Hardware: Other OS: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Basesystem Assignee: screening-team-bugs@suse.de Reporter: linus.kardell@gmail.com QA Contact: qa-bugs@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- Created attachment 853049 --> http://bugzilla.opensuse.org/attachment.cgi?id=853049&action=edit journalctl Sometimes when I try to suspend my laptop (an Acer Aspire 3 A315-41 with a Ryzen 7 3700U), it will fail with "bpfilter: read fail -512", as shown in the attached log. When this happens, graphical sessions completely hang until I reboot, although the terminal is still usable. I also get AMDGPU errors like: sep 01 20:24:31 putsa kernel: amdgpu 0000:03:00.0: amdgpu: [gfxhub0] retry page fault (src_id:0 ring:0 vmid:6 pasid:32769, for process Xorg.bin pid 5634 thread Xorg.bin:cs0 pid 5731) sep 01 20:24:31 putsa kernel: amdgpu 0000:03:00.0: amdgpu: in page starting at address 0x0000000000000000 from IH client 0x1b (UTCL2) sep 01 20:24:31 putsa kernel: amdgpu 0000:03:00.0: amdgpu: VM_L2_PROTECTION_FAULT_STATUS:0x006C0071 sep 01 20:24:31 putsa kernel: amdgpu 0000:03:00.0: amdgpu: Faulty UTCL2 client ID: CB (0x0) sep 01 20:24:31 putsa kernel: amdgpu 0000:03:00.0: amdgpu: MORE_FAULTS: 0x1 sep 01 20:24:31 putsa kernel: amdgpu 0000:03:00.0: amdgpu: WALKER_ERROR: 0x0 sep 01 20:24:31 putsa kernel: amdgpu 0000:03:00.0: amdgpu: PERMISSION_FAULTS: 0x7 sep 01 20:24:31 putsa kernel: amdgpu 0000:03:00.0: amdgpu: MAPPING_ERROR: 0x0 sep 01 20:24:31 putsa kernel: amdgpu 0000:03:00.0: amdgpu: RW: 0x1 and/or sep 01 20:24:31 putsa kernel: amdgpu 0000:03:00.0: [drm:amdgpu_ib_ring_tests [amdgpu]] *ERROR* IB test failed on gfx (-110). sep 01 20:24:31 putsa kernel: [drm:process_one_work] *ERROR* ib ring test failed (-110).
