https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=726550 https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=726550#c0 Summary: Kcalc Cannot Be Launched Using the Calculator Button On The Keyboard Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 12.1 Version: RC 1 Platform: PC OS/Version: SuSE Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: KDE4 Workspace AssignedTo: kde-maintainers@suse.de ReportedBy: malv_star@hotmail.com QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux i686; rv:7.0.1) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/7.0.1 In previous versions of openSUSE, Kcalc could be launched by pressing the Calculator button present on most modern keyboards. In 12.1 RC1 however, this no longer appears to be the case. Editing KMenu shows that no keyboard shortcut is assigned to Kcalc, however even assigning the launch key manually and saving the edited menu still does not result in Kcalc being launched when the keyboard Calculator button is pressed. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Log in to KDE 2. Press the "Calculator" button on your keyboard (if you have one) 3. Nothing happens 4. Edit KMenu and assign the Calculator button to KCalc as a shortcut 5. Save changes 6. Press the "Calculator" button on your keyboard. Actual Results: Nothing happens. Expected Results: KCalc starts, and further presses of the "Calculator" button do not start additional instances of KCalc. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
