It seems, that new mkinitrd 2.7.2, that shipped with recent kernel update has broken suspend to disk. It looks like saving resume image goes as usual, but when you boot a kernel with initrd generated using mkinird 2.7.2, kernel says that resume image is missing or damaged. However, downgrading to mkinird 2.7.0 saves the situation. I've tried mkinitrd 2.7.2 with kernel 3.3.6 - result was the same.
