"Intel HD-audio" means nothing but "a modern PC". There are hundreds of different issues with it. Thus, unless you give the exact description of *YOUR* problem, it is no help. That's why I've asked for it repeatedly. And, finally you gave the information that can help for debugging! It's your single-line text in comment #9:
This problem is that Xen and Pae do not work with the intel on chip sound and the only error message is seen from KDE 4 on startup.
If you wrote it from the beginning, we could save many minutes. So, at the next time, please give a precise description of your bug first of all... So... The problem you face looks like a typical one regarding the KDE sound subsystem. It's likely a conflict with pulseaudio. As a workaround, try the following: - Remove libflashsupport package - Remove pulseaudio package If you get any dependency problem, at least, try to uninstall pulseaudio.rpm and pulseaudio-module-x11.rpm but keep libpulse*.rpm - Make sure you have phonon-backend-xine package installed - Remove phonon-backend-gstreamer-0_10 package Then re-login. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
