https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=830661 https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=830661#c0 Summary: KMail unuseable, eating up CPU Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE Factory Version: 13.1 Milestone 3 Platform: Other OS/Version: openSUSE 12.3 Status: NEW Severity: Critical Priority: P5 - None Component: KDE4 Applications AssignedTo: kde-maintainers@suse.de ReportedBy: suse-beta@cboltz.de QAContact: qa-bugs@suse.de Found By: Beta-Customer Blocker: Yes Since the last factory update yesterday (which brought KDE 4.10.90) - kmail, akonadiserver and mysql eat up my cpu - kmail takes ages to display a mail (more than a minute) - it's impossible to send a mail - the composer window stays open (greyed out) forever, but the mail isn't sent (I killed kmail after maybe 10 minutes) In other words: KMail from KDE 4.10.90 is completely unuseable on my system :-( - I have to use webmail for now. This happens with an existing user, with some GB of mails. (With a new test user, KMail doesn't eat up the CPU - but the test user does not have any mails.) I'll happily help to debug this - just tell me what you need. Hints how to get a working KMail again are also very welcome. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
