But I am going to watch this closely now until this is resolved. To eloberate on my earlier comment - Evolution does not depend upon Beagle for its search (on KDE or any other desktop). The error message you have reported "The program was not able to create a connection to the Beagle daemon. Please make sure Beagle is running" is not an Evolution error message. Perhaps, this needs to be assigned to a different component (Beagle). Aside the above, the error seems to indicate Beagle is not running, not that it has not been installed.
