What Takashi means is can you bisect the issue?
Search the web for "bisect the kernel" if you are unsure what it means.
So let me ask you: what is the last kernel which boots successfully on this machine? Can you upload dmesg and /proc/cpuinfo from it?
Thanks.
The only kernel i can boot is 4.7.4. I can't boot anything after at least 4.8.3. I've seen some examples of bisecting the kernels but it seems to differ on distributions. could you walk me through it? -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
