http://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1006603 Bug ID: 1006603 Summary: MacBook touchpad does not work in the installation (standard DVD) Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE Tumbleweed Version: Current Hardware: Other OS: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Installation Assignee: yast2-maintainers@suse.de Reporter: ronisbr@gmail.com QA Contact: jsrain@suse.com Found By: --- Blocker: --- Hi guys! If I try to install openSUSE (Leap or Tumbleweed) in a MacBook, then I cannot use the touchpad. Notice that the touchpad works perfectly in GNOME (and in live CD). Thus, maybe we just need one package in the installation CD. I am having a big problem because of it. I need to install an external package to enable WiFi, so it is not good to depend on Internet connection during the installation. Hence, it is not good to install using LiveCD. On the other hand, my SSD is very small (128 GiB), so I want to install Linux in an USB stick. However, since I only have 2 USB, then I do not have enough slot to plug the installation USB stick, the destination USB stick, and an external mouse. I successfully installed Linux using keyboard only, but it is not easy. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
