http://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=591704 http://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=591704#c0 Summary: encrypted tmp not accessible for normal user Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 11.3 Version: Milestone 4 Platform: x86-64 OS/Version: openSUSE 11.3 Status: NEW Severity: Major Priority: P5 - None Component: Basesystem AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: dutchkind@txoriaskea.org QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux x86_64; nl; rv:1.9.2.2) Gecko/20100317 SUSE/3.6.2-1.2 Firefox/3.6.2 At installation I created an encrypted tmp from a partition. The same partition is used for the same purpose by my working opensuse 11.2. When I try to log in as normal user I get an error message telling me the tmp cannot be accessed with the question if it is maybe full. It has a size of 2Gb so that's not the problem. When I log in as root I have no problem, so then I changed the rights to rw for all users and I can log in as user after that. Upon reboot however, I have the same thing again, there is no write access to tmp by any user except root, which defeats the purpose of an encrypted tmp.
