https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=264266 sh@novell.com changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Severity|Normal |Minor Status|NEW |ASSIGNED Summary|Package Manager Keyboard |Package Manager Status Keyboard Shortcuts |Shortcuts Messed Up |Inconsistent ------- Comment #1 from sh@novell.com 2007-04-13 06:59 MST ------- [-] for "Keep" is indeed wrong. [-] is always "Delete". [>] and [+] work fine for me. There has to be a newer version of that package to update to, of course. Those entries would be displayed in blue text color. BTW the rationale for having two shortcuts for (seemingly) the same operation are mass status changes: If you have a list of packages and keep [+] pressed, it will give you each package in its latest version, regardless whether or not the package was previously installed. [>] OTOH will give you a "higher" version (a package with a higher version number) if and only if the package was previously installed. It will not mark a package for installation that was not installed so far. [-] and [<] are meant to be the inverse operations. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.
