http://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=540506 Summary: korganizer and kabc "import" feature does not work Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 11.2 Version: Milestone 7 Platform: x86 OS/Version: SuSE Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: KDE4 Applications AssignedTo: kde-maintainers@suse.de ReportedBy: holy@wustl.edu QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (compatible; Konqueror/4.3; Linux) KHTML/4.3.1 (like Gecko) SUSE I copied old (KDE3) std.vcf and std.ics files from one computer into the home directory on a new installation of openSUSE 11.2 milestone 7. After opening kontact and selecting the calendar component, I chose "Import" from the file menu and navigated to the std.ics file. While there was no error message, the default calendar was not updated with the new items. The same thing happens with the addressbook. Partial workaround: bypass the "Import" feature, just copy the file to the appropriate directory in ~/.kde4/share/apps. However, only use this workaround if you your current calendar/address book is blank, otherwise you'll lose the existing data.
