https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=409371 Summary: Resize crypt file fails with unclear error message Product: openSUSE 11.0 Version: Final Platform: Other OS/Version: openSUSE 11.0 Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: YaST2 AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: s.handgraaf@xs4all.nl QAContact: jsrain@novell.com Found By: Customer Every time I try to resize a created crypt filesystem the following error message is shown: "You can not resize a disk device, LVM volume group, LVM physical volume, NFS mount, or MD device". How to re-produce: 1) yast2 -> expert partitioner. 2) create crypt filesystem image file named ".data.img" 3) reboot system, during boot enter password for mounting 4) yast2 -> expert partitioner 5) select crypt device row 5) select resize: error message Imho this Loop device is not any of the mentioned devices/group/volume/mount. This would mean users should be able to resize the crypt filesystem, or the error message is not complete and/or confusing. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
