http://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=967206 http://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=967206#c2 --- Comment #2 from Donald Curtis <donald@curtisliberty.de> --- Stefan, only that the default for Leap 42.1 is to use "persistent interface names"; which will happen with an install but as the Release Notes mention is not recommended for an upgrade from 13.2. The workaround needed for an upgrade from 13.2 is only needed after the initial reboot in the upgrade procedure to ensure that network connectivity (Network Manager WiFi passwords) will happen as expected and therefore the upgrade procedure can complete successfully, including any network activity it requires during the initial reboot. Once the upgrade has completed, I can see no advantage in continuing to use the 13.2 "predictable network interface names", and indeed can only suspect that other adverse effects will occur as Leap 42.1 progresses if the interface names are not changed to the default Leap 42.1 style. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
