http://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=555473 Summary: gnome-terminal Copy Link Address doesn't work Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 11.2 Version: Final Platform: Other OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: GNOME AssignedTo: bnc-team-gnome@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: bwhiteley@novell.com QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.9.1.4) Gecko/20091016 SUSE/3.5.4-1.1.2 Firefox/3.5.4 If an URL is displayed in gnome-terminal, you can right-click it and there is a Copy Link Address option. However, it doesn't work quite right. If you right-click and paste, it works. If you Shift+Insert, it does not work. However, Shift+Insert works for other copy'n'paste needs, so it should also work with URLs where Copy Link Address was used. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Right-click an URL in gnome-terminal --> Copy Link Address 2.try to paste it into gnome-terminal with Shift+Insert 3.now copy some text from Firefox with Ctrl+C, and observe that you can Shift+Insert to paste that into gnome-terminal. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
