https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=281939#c14 --- Comment #14 from Sitsofe Wheeler <sitsofe@yahoo.com> 2007-09-13 12:20:55 MST --- Werner: It looks like it's a 64 bit issue. After your previous comment I went back and checked the version of the SLES10SP1 and SUSE10.1 ghostscript-library RPMs and both were 8.15.3 (ghostscript-library-8.15.3-18.7 and ghostscript-library-8.15.3-18.2 in this case). The only difference I could think of was that the SUSE 10.1 machine which did not produce the segfault upon running gs -q -dBATCH -dPARANOIDSAFER -dNOPAUSE -sDEVICE=pswrite -dLanguageLevel=1 -sOutputFile=gsout.ps segfault.ps was using a 32 bit version of SUSE 10.1. We just so happen to have a few machines running the 64 bit version of SUSE 10.1 and that produces the same segfault as SLES10SP1.
