https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=350045 Summary: xmgrace GUI bug caused by openmotif Product: openSUSE 10.2 Version: Final Platform: x86-64 OS/Version: openSUSE 10.2 Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Usability AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: laurent.brognara@cenaero.be QAContact: siegfried.olschner@novell.com Found By: --- We found this after installing openSuSE 10.2 on new computers. The bug is a GUI one. While you operate a data manipulation in the menu "Edit" -> "Set operations..." panel, if you try to resize the "set operations" window, it reduces the source and destination boxes to a single line with a scroll bar. After that, there is no way to retrieve the initial configuration and that's a pain in the a** to catch a desired set of data to manipulate it. After a little search on the net (FC5 forums), we found that this was related to the new openmotif libraries. Here, we only noticed this problem on openSuSE 10.2 (both 32 & 64-bit versions, tested on 6 computers...) with xmgrace-5.1.19-36 and openmotif-libs-2.3.0beta2-32. As a temporary fix, we forced the installation of openSuSE 10.3 openmotif libraries (openmotif-libs-2.3.0-23). The "Set operations..." panel seems back to normal. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
