Look at the output, it seems Arista (openSUSE package) is trying to install the codecs via the PackageKit-GStreamer integration (not Packman specific). The output says: arista.presets [433]: INFO Attempting to install elements: x264enc ** Message: PackageKit: xid = 0 ** Message: PackageKit: Codec nice name: GStreamer element x264enc ** Message: PackageKit: structure: gstreamer0.10(element-x264enc)()(64bit) ** Message: PackageKit: Did not install codec: Message did not receive a reply (timeout by message bus) arista.presets [442]: ERROR Unable to install required elements! And the gstreamer-0_10-plugins-ugly-orig-addon package from Packman provides "gstreamer0.10(element-x264enc)()(64bit)" (through the dependency extractor of the openSUSE package). That's the only thing the Packman package has to do correctly, and it does. I can't say for sure what the problem is with only a: "** Message: PackageKit: Did not install codec: Message did not receive a reply (timeout by message bus)". But a "timeout" is not what I would expect in something that works. I will look at the later problem (no property "profile" in element "faac0"). But the error installing the codecs is 100% openSUSE related. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
